The largest land parade and Fourth of July Celebration in the area is located in Tega Cay. It's an all day affair starting with a land parade at 9AM. They have a great parade with vintage cars, local celebrities, citizen floats and a community golf cart group.

After the land parade grab a shuttle to Windjammer Park to watch log rolling, paddle board jousting, water ski show and a boat parade.

From 3-5 you can go to the Glennon Center, aka the "Splash Pad" for face painting, a DJ and water inflatables.  At 4:30 there's a fish fry (you need to get your tickets beforehand), followed by the announcement of the Citizen of the Year.

The Mayor gives his State of the City speech at 6:30.And the grand finale fireworks show begins at 9:30. Many residents find a great location on one of the golf courses to settle down and enjoy the show.

Tega Cay does a spectacular job of celebrating both the country's and the city's birth date. Its a day of fun family oriented activities, great to share with your visiting family and friends.

We hope to see you there!
